Letter Threatens Violence at High School Graduation
School officials are taking seriously a letter that threatens violence at the upcoming graduation ceremonies at Casa Roble High School.

The letter, which makes references to the shooting spree at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, was received on Friday. It threatens harm to all who attend the graduation ceremony at the school's stadium on Thursday night.

In response to the letter, the principal at the Orangevale high school has sent a letter home to parents detailing increased security measures for graduation night. The letter makes it clear that law enforcement will be on hand for the graduation, and imposes a number of restrictions on those planning to attend.

The principal has arranged for security personnel to search anyone entering the stadium. Attendees will not be allowed to bring coolers, ice chests, backpacks or other large containers to the ceremony.
